Day of the Dead Program (2 Weeks)

Service Description

The Day of the Dead program runs for two-weeks from October 23 to November 3, 2023. While in Oaxaca, immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the Day of the Dead and join a one-of-a-kind Spanish language program. This program will allow you to delve deeper into the culture, art, food, and language of this remarkable time. During the Day of the Dead, witness the beauty of various cultural expressions and mouth-watering gastronomy. Families adorn their homes and host festivities to remember their loved ones who have passed. It's a magical time to embrace the richness of Mexico's heritage. The 2 weeks program includes: ​ 40 hours of Spanish language classes (Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) Mask Making & a second cultural workshop (16 hours, Monday to Thursday, 2-hours in the afternoon) Lecture about Day of the Dead in Oaxaca (one evening - date & time TBD) 1 Tour to the cemeteries (night of October 31) 1 Tour to the comparsas (on November 1)
